Reading List for September (Week 5) by Rochelle D’souza

Hello! Hope all of you are doing well.  The rains in Mumbai-Thane create the perfect mood to read and sip some hot tea.  How far have you reached with the reading list? Do you read regularly and do you make an effort to read all that is there on the list? It may be challenging to finish the list at times. Remember then that you must enjoy what you do and the purpose of the list is to encourage you to read regularly. If you are reading regularly, then our (both yours and mine) is met.  The list for this week has 20 articles and includes two essays by Tagore.  I am also happy to share an article that my brother wrote about using the 80/20 Principle (some of you may know about it) in trnasforming business. https://o9solutions.com/aim10x/blog/using-80-20-to-set-your-transformation-objectives/?utm_campaign=aim10x-Sept-2021&utm_medium=linkedin_aim10x&utm_source=marketing Articles https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2021/sep/25/dialects-english-grammar-accuracy https://www.proje

Reading List for September (Week 4) by Rochelle D’souza

Did you enjoy reading the articles suggested last week?  I also hope by now you are reading more and reading on diverse topics. The articles are carefully selected to include current events. These help in keeping abreast with the times. The other articles are selected from various spheres. This is primarily because competitive exams have reading comprehension passages from different subjects.  I encourage readers to share what they read. I am happy to share articles recommended by Sneha this week. This is the second time that Sneha is sharing what she has been reading with our readers. Thank you Sneha and keep up the good work.  I’m happy to read the comments that you share via the comment section, email and chat. Thank you for the feedback. Please keep writing. I enjoy interacting with you.  The list for this week has 21 articles (try to read 3 articles everyday). It also articles recommended by Sneha. The list includes essays by Virginia Woolf. Would you like to read more about a particular area or topic. Do let me know and I will be happy to share them in the list.  I am back to sharing 18 articles this week from different sources. Hope you enjoy them.  This time I have included an autobiological graphic novel. This is just to bring in some change.  No recommendations came in this week, so I am leaving that part blank. I would love to share articles that you send. Do send what you enjoyed reading so that it can be shared with the other readers. I am sure as readers too you find it interesting to know what others are reading.  Please find the list of 18 articles and 1 graphic novel.  Articles https://aeon.co/essays/machine-writing-is-closer-to-literatures-history-than-you-know https://www.the-american-interest.com/2018/05/07/the-fifties-wer
