Reading List by Rochelle Dsouza - Year 2022 Week October, 4th, 2022

Hello everyone!  With less than 2 months for CAT 2022, many of my students ask me what they should focus on in the last 2 months. As always my message is the same - READING AND UNDERSTANDING WHAT YOU READ.   Spending time reading purposefully is the key to improving your ability to comprehend. Speed wrt reading will improve with time. Don;t focus on reading fast but on the process of reflecting on what you read.  I invite aspirants to spend a minimum of 1,5 to 2 hours reading every day. Those who find it difficult to commit to these hours at a stretch, they should read for 45 mins at a stretch and then have more such reading sessions.  To help students build their ability to read about different topics, I try to include articles with different writing styles from different topics.  So, here are this week’s 20 articles. https://hyperallergic.com/764867/the-fake-art-industry-is-booming-online/ https://www.npr.org/2022/09/21/1124082877/chess-cheating-scandal-niemann-carlsen https://acad
