Reading List by Rochelle Dsouza - Year 2022 Week June 13th, 2022

Hello everyone!  How has the last week been? Did you learn anything new? I am happy to share that I have just finished a course on Personal Counselling by Dr Minnu Bhonsle from Heart to Heart Institute and it was a fantastic experience. The course was extremely insightful and one that has changed the way I look at things, events and people.  I took up the course to help me help my students in a better manner when I speak to them> I wanted to learn how to listen to them better and learn the right way to guide them. But the course challenged me to change myself first, before I bring about change in the lives of others.  I am so happy I took up the course as it has been a wonderful journey of three months to ‘find me’. Let’s come back to the list. So, here are this week’s 25 articles.  https://www.wsj.com/articles/metaphysical-animals-and-the-women-are-up-to-something-book-review-a-philosophy-of-their-own-11654872768?st=zd7o81awv29zwph&reflink=desktopwebshare_permalink https://aeon

Reading List by Rochelle Dsouza - Year 2022 Week June 7th, 2022

Hello everyone!  How have all of you been?  Apologies for being a day late. I had an amazing but tiring weekend, taking classes and attending some for my own personal growth. I attended a workshop on Therapeutic Creating Writing and learnt the power of using humour, writing haikus and dialogues, sitting quietly to heal and rejuvenate. It was truly a wonderful experience and much needed.  The most important lesson through the workshop was experiencing the power of writing. I hope to write more and perhaps even share some things that I write.  Hope you had a restful or an eventful weekend Today’s reading list has around 25 articles. Hope you enjoy reading each one of them https://scroll.in/article/1024765/when-jawaharlal-nehru-read-lolita-to-decide-whether-an-obscene-book-should-be-allowed-in-india https://www.psychologytoday.com/intl/blog/experience-studio/202206/not-all-crises-are-the-same https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2022/may/30/eu-forget-sanctions-russia-ukraine-food-ene
